Artist & Nomad is a nonprofit organization founded by Brandon and Kirsten Dickerson. Together, the Dickersons have over 40 years of experience in global leadership focused on intentional living, the creative arts, and social business models. They love offering radical hospitality and inviting people to slow down and dwell in the moment.

ARTIST & NOMAD is a passion project of Brandon and Kirsten Dickerson, bringing together their collective experience and expertise in hosting, guiding, and leading others to live with intention, compassion, and creativity. ARTIST & NOMAD offers a variety of retreats and workshops curated and hosted by The Dickersons.
Brandon & Kirsten have personally experienced transformation through the act of slowing down and practicing the presence of God. Throughout their 26 years of marriage, they have served others through Green Acres Glamping Retreat, Ecclesia Hollywood, Laity Lodge, various film productions, the Fernweh Studio, Raven+Lily, and Tirzah International. Their lives have been a combination of investing in others through hospitality, leadership, mentorship, and the creative arts. They offer their collective experience through curated retreats and workshops with ARTIST & NOMAD, as well as consulting and coaching others in their areas of expertise.
Kirsten is passionate about creation care, artisans, ethical design, regenerative practices, and empowering women. Brandon is passionate about film, writing, improv, pilgrimage, mentoring, and surfing.
ARTIST & NOMAD is based in Northern Portugal at O Refúgio, a nonprofit ecumenical retreat center and farm in a traditional village above the Douro River. Retreats and Workshops are held at both the retreat center as well as other locations in Portugal, Spain, Morocco, and beyond.
Every retreat and workshop includes a donation to give back the work of the local communities where retreats are held… funding creation care efforts, local camps for kids, and creative arts opportunities and scholarships for people in need of rest or retreat.

Consulting + Speaking Opportunities
Brandon and Kirsten also offer private consultation or coaching sessions in the areas of their expertise. They are each seasoned communicators and leaders who are open to speaking or hosting a private workshop at your conference, business, faith community, or event. They also offer private A&N retreats and travel itineraries. All services are offered as a donation to ARTIST & NOMAD.
